faucet

The kitchen faucet, the little screen on the end of your faucet, is known as the aeration screen, and it can be filthy.  Since it’s always got water running through it the moistness is ideal for where bacteria is going to grow.  Tap water isn’t that clean to begin with, plus think about times when you may have accidentally touched the screen while your fingers were dirty.  To avoid any contamination or sickness from this item, you should take it off once each week, make some bleach solution that is diluted and soak it for about 30 minutes.  After it’s done, put it back in and let water run through the screen for several minutes.
