3 Genius Ways To Save Money With Kids

Whether you’re on a budget or just want to put some money to the side, there are plenty of ways to save a few bucks without slacking in what your kids have. Think about your day to day purchases. There are a wide variety of items we purchase each year that could easily be set to the side, helping us to save hundreds of dollars (or more) per year.

New Movies

Movies are a great activity to do with your kids. However, you don’t have to go out and purchase the movie every time you want something new. Unless your kids plan on watching the movies over and over again, rent movies from Redbox. This is especially true if all the DVD is really going to do is collect dust.

A Smartphone

With everyone out and about with their own day to day activities, having a phone can seem like a necessity. However, in most cases, kids rarely need them. They are usually at school or with a parent. However, if your child does need a phone, they don’t need a Smartphone. As long as it makes the calls and can text (if necessary), the rest is just a distraction.

New Books

A great way to save money without your child missing out on reading material is to visit the library. Depending upon the library will determine the amount of books you can check out each week. However, the library is a great way to read up on plenty of books without the big bills, especially if you only plan to read the book once.
