5 Small Steps for Buying Less Figurine Toys (You Know You Need To Work On This)

  1. Don’t Buy The Whole Set

My daughter used to love the Tinker Bell movies but has completely outgrown them. Unfortunately, now I have about 200 dollars worth of complete Tinker Bell sets (tea sets, fairy doll sets, etc) that no one has any interest in. Manufacturers will often put the ‘rest of the series’ on the boxes of toys which has ingrained in many children (and parent’s) minds that you have to buy the whole set. You don’t. You can buy them their favorite characters and it will be fine—Thomas will drive them to their tea where they’ll re-connect with their Littlest Pets from the shop and My Little Pony will give them a lift home.
